ila von Kerala Highlands is a quiet expression of flavour and ritual. Rooted in the hills of South India, our teas, chai blends, spices, and treats are chosen thoughtfully and shared with care. The name ila, meaning leaf in Malayalam, reflects this simplicity at the heart of everything we do. Made for everyday moments rather than special occasions, our blends offer balance, comfort, and a sense of belonging in each cup.

Born from a Love for Tea, The Story Behind ila

ila von Kerala Highlands began with Badar’s memories of growing up in the highlands of Kerala, where tea was simply part of life. After moving to Germany, she came to understand how meaningful those simple rituals had been. ila grew from that feeling, as a way to share the tastes she knew so well, and as a quiet thank you for the warmth and openness she experienced in her second home.
